![]() FUYUME Birthday: 19/July/1999 Birth place: A medical lab in Acton area, London, UK Weight: 520grams Sex: Female Favourites: sweets, jasmine rice, chicken, crab meat. Hobby: Lap ratting, being fussed, getting attention. This is Fuyume. You can tell the difference between the sisters by looking at the top of her head. The one with a bit of the fur sticking up is Fuyu. "Bad fur day". She feels very firm when you hold her compared soft wobbly Miyuki. She is very active and she just loves chasing a small round plastic toy. She used to be the shy scatty one, but when you get to know Fuyume, she is very cuddly and affectionate and now she loves all the attention!. She enjoys playing hide & seek, only with the intention to not reappear. She is a determined burrower, she will dig herself anywhere out of my reach. Once she was hiding between white cushions, and even after I spotted her, she carried on pretending to be a part of the cushions. She also adores snuggling inside the clothing I am wearing. Fuyume also loves collecting fabrics, whether I am wearing, or not. Whatever it is once she gets her little paws on, it will be dragged into her cage and shredded into fine strips. She is the cage cleaner. She tidies up everything in her cage, by putting into small piles and placing them in different spots of the cage. She has a habit of accumulating tissue bedding in her food bowl, left-over in the back of their wooden house, and gnawing sticks in front of the house. She loves stashing just about everything I give her. Her latest passion is a dog chew. It is as big as her body but she drags everywhere in her cage. It's avery good gnawing material to keep her teeth trimmed. She doen't really like sharing it with her sister, it's all for herself! I can not believe her personality changed so much now compared to when she came to me first. I was scared of her as she was a vicious biter and she drew blood from me and my guests quite few occasions. She was untrusting, scatty little thing she would hide behind her sister and refused to come out of the cage. But now, she is the ultimate lap rat. She loves being fussed and being talked to, tickled under her belly and play rat foodball. She is the first to come to greet me everytime I pass by her cage. She has never ever been ill.
