I found a very cute finger puppet of an albino rat in a market in Grenwich Market East London I just had to get it, it was so cute. It was about the size of a real baby rat, a size of an index finger. So I came home and inroduced it to my rats, expecting they wouldn't think much of it because it doen't smell of anything.
I was wrong yet again. You've got to see how excited my rats were. Their ruby eyes sparcled as soon as they saw it. They were absolutely fascinated by this little puppet, that they were sniffing, chasing, and catching it to give it a good licking! It was so funny Miyuki put her nose where a finger was supposed to go in and it was a perfect fit, it just looked like a novelty hat!      Both of my rats were even fighting for its custody, but in the end, Fuyume won the battle. She triumphantly hopped around everywhere with the puppet in her mouth , carrying it by the scruff of the neck and holding it as high as she can. I tried to take it off from her (since it was my toy!) and she refused return it and even attacked me when I tried to touch it. In the end I gave it up and deceided to let them have it for a overnight. I was expecting they would have shredded it into little pieces (just like a poor little mouse in the "scary story") by next morning.      Well, I was wrong (again).  My rats were looking after it as if it was their own baby. It still is in a perfect condition, between my rats paws being cradled & licked.
